I would already like to thank the people who did a little writing for it, and left prompts. I thought it was okay, not a big turn out but I wasn't expecting much of a big crowd anyway. I'll definitely do this again some time. =D

I just posted my own contribution. I have another one in the works but it's giving me a little bit of a hard time. Teddy bears are just not that cute when they refuse to cooperate. As it turned out my muse wanted to have that Forever Knight drabble out first. So...

On the other matter I recently posted about and where I got some serious feedback, where some agreed and a few disagreed, I have yet to make up my mind. But I did have sort of a thought earlier that this could be a fun experience for me (although I'm still wondering about where I'll go find that extra time). I don't want to disappoint people, who were looking forward to this. And I owe it to all of you to do this.

I will not yield.

I'm just a little ant in a big anthill, but anyone who has seen Antz knows that even a little ant can make a difference. I am going to set my issues aside for this one, but for future reference this will not happen a second time. (And I will read the rules more closely too.)

So whoever is on that filter... You better be prepared! And keep your arms and feet inside the vehicle at all times.

The Kate Heightmeyer drabble-a-thon is still going till the end of February, so you still have time to write something or post something if you're working on something. Don't worry about missing a fic cause I'll have a masterlist up as soon as March arrives.

So far tanaquisga  has been going steady on the day-to-day drabbles. Tanaqui is leading in the writing. No chance to catch up, I fear. =P

I am also tackling a prompt after having some issues with my muse. I am determined to try as many as I can. And that's where my second name in the title comes in.

So, I shuffled around with the prompts and set them in some kind or order that I hope will make sense. But first I shall start with the posting instructions and whatnot.

You may take as many prompts as you like and write as many fics as you like. No need to claim. You can even take several prompts and pour 'em into one (long) fic if you like. Just don't forget that the main focus should be on Kate (Stargate Atlantis), Fleur (Forever Knight) or Alice (Star Trek Voyager).

thank you for the wonderful prompts - I'm going to put them in some form of order, add my own, and then I'm going to make a post and officially open this thon for writing.

Work was .... remember Daniel in One False Step when he's angry with Jack ... that's how I felt today. And to top it all off, I did some serious overtime to catch up with what I should actually do, not the thing I did today which is not my job to do.

Oh yeah... apparently the 29th is today and a thursday - Prompts for the Kate-drabble-a-thon are still welcome cause I mixed up my days. So, extension until I say stop which is probably saturday.

The tin puppy didn't get to play today. It was busy, busy, busy at work... *iz a little sad* ...Though I did watch Tin Man as it appeared on SciFi, which as it turns out expands one hour to the DVD-version. There's tons more of Anna Galvin..... I mean, story. *silly giggle*

Oh yes, title-wise I was going to say something Stargate-y. I want to make an overview of 5 years of Atlantis, highlighting the good and bad times the team went through, and I have found the perfect song by Immediate Music, from their Globus-Epicon album - Orchard of Mines. It'll be a long hard work, which will kill me ten times over but I want to do it no matter what.

And you can still leave prompts until the end of the week, Friday, for my mini-drabble-a-thon which as it turns out will be as much about Kate Heightmeyer as it will be about any other characters Claire Rankin ever played in her life so far. But I don't mind at all... :D I'm a happy fangirl.

Watched too much Tin Man ... if that's even possible. I now have a plotbunny following me everywhere. It's like a lost little puppy, a tin puppy.

It did help me out at work today, so I'm sorta greatful it's there, but I also have two drabble-a-thons to think about. For which you can still leave prompts btw -> Claire needs some more lovin'!

Because anuna_81 seems to know what she's doing, I'm borrowing her text. But as a return gift I am pimping her John Sheppard Drabble-a-thon which is now taking prompts until the 29th of January.

The prompting may begin! It starts today and ends on Jan 29th 31st (because I am a twit who needs to learn what a calendar is).

You can post as many prompts as you want, and make several prompt posts. All pairings and ratings are allowed, and they are all Kate - centered by default.

You can use episode prompts, word prompts, quote, song lyrics, or even a brief summary of what you wish to see written. When prompting for a ship, or friendship, indicate it in your prompt with a / for slash and a & for friendship.

Things which are commonly not allowed, like minors doing adult things, RPF, promoting of illegal stuff and such are off limits here too. I really don't want to get in trouble here with anyone.

Snag as many prompts as you want - you don't need to claim them, and write as many drabbles, fics or stories of epic proportion as you'd like. The drabble-a-thon begins on February 2nd (officially anyway) and lasts an entire month which gives you more than time enough to come up with something (I hope).

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I have people on my flist that I know write in other fandoms in which Claire starred as a guest actress, one of them being Forever Knight. Now, because this is my drabble-a-thon I would like to tell this one person in particular (*winks at brightknightie *) to come by as well and leave maybe a few prompts for Fleur de Brabant. No promises of fic, but there's always a chance (hell, this whole drabble-a-thon could end up forgotten in a matter of minutes)

First of all - anuna_81 I really am not stealing any ideas from you. I was just thinking about this the other day and I didn't know you were going to do a Sheppard drabble-a-thon. So, please forgive me?
However, you can rest assured yours will be a whole lot popular than mine. =)

Mine involves the character of Kate Heightmeyer... *crickets chirp* ... *tumbleweed passes by*...

Anyway, I have a free day on friday (which also happens to be the 23rd of January - Happy B'day Claire!) which means I can spend a lot of time behind my computer, not thinking of work really. So, in honor of my free day =p and because there can never be enough (there's too little in fact) Kate-fic, I shall organize a drabble-a-thon.

Keep in mind that I'm going on a limp here.

Let's say I collect the prompts, from Friday the 23rd until next week Wednesday the 28th, so that I can put them in order and then start the writing from the 29th onward until the 28th of February which gives you a whole month to come up with something or many, many, many little drabbles (something between 500 & 1000 wordcount, more is okay too =D).

Everything is welcome - from crossovers to general, ships, friendship, slash, ... any pairing - with Kate as its center piece.

Not allowed are minors doing grown-up things with adults (you know what I mean), incest, non-con - you know, the kind of stuff that isn't allowed on the big fic-a-thons either. I don't want to get in trouble here.

And because I happen to like Claire in other stuff and I have some folks on my flist I know watch(ed) this other stuff too - I'm all for some fics with other characters she played, such as there is ... *grin* .... Fleur de Brabant (Forever Knight). But, you know, point that out in your comment with your prompts, otherwise I might get confused.

Okay - I realize there might not be so much response coming so I'm just gonna go with the flow and see where this leads...

Two things:

1) It is possible that we'll be adopting a new kitten though me and my sister, and my aunt, have to whine a little harder with the parental units. But we're already looking for suitable names for the kitten. Either a spotted girl, or a grey tiger boy - So, anyone have any good suggestions?

2) My muse was rudely yanked back to reality and I created two wallpapers for two of my flisters, rewards for their help in beta and one a late bribe for entering the sg_rarepairings  ficathon.
